He left work early to get a jump start on his "new home-based business".

Today my boss asked me to run some personal errands for him. While I was out driving around, he called my cell phone and asked if I was close to a McDonald's. I told him yes and he told me to pick up his lunch, including a Shamrock shake. I told him they stopped selling them on St. Patty's Day.

He told me to keep driving until I found one that has them. I guess I'll be getting back to the store in March of 2012. Idiot.

Today I overheard my stupid boss announcing a solution to the nuclear crisis in Japan.

He wants to send "all the nuclears" into space on the space shuttle. Yes, "the nuclears". Not spent nuclear fuel rods, but "nuclears". Even if the astronauts agreed to sitting 20 feet away from a cargo bay filled with nuclear waste, what would happen to the environment if something leaked on the flight up? Or if the fuel rods fell out of orbit and back down to earth.

I wish we could send all the stupid bosses into space.

Today my boss heard that the space shuttles are being retired and donated to various museums. He asked how they will launch them out of the Smithsonian.

During a budget meeting last week, our new head of accounting detailed his plan for drastic cost-cutting.

He's European, specifically Scottish. He made the mistake of saying that our company needed to "conduct business in a more niggardly fashion". The ^%$# hit the f\/cking fan!!!

After calls to HR and a protest by some of our employees who threatened lawsuits, I went to Dictionary.com

I go into work on Thursday night and have a note attached to my time card from my boss. The note, though more like a letter, goes on about how horrible the place looked and how nothing was done Tuesday or Wednesday Night.

I've been off work every single Tuesday and Wednesday night since I started there over a year and a half ago.

Toolmaker guy walks into the office, happens to be black, great guy, way, way smarter than the local norm, says, "Which of these is the color printer?" To which the boss replies, "things ain't like that any more, you can use whichever printer you want."

I'm the project manager of a company handling the e-commerce department. For some reason, I've been placed under someone who has no idea about my work (don't ask me why cuz I don't know either!). One day he calls me into his office and asks me "have you started to plan and implement the operational side of the project", I replied "No, my job is to handle the internet side of the project and not the actual operational side, someone must be working on that in parallel with what I'm doing", so he replies back "What do you mean someone? Have you noticed if we employed anyone to do that job", I replied "No", then he replies "then you should be doing it". So I stopped for a second and thought, and then I said to him "It's not my job to notice anything, who is the operations manager in this company?"..... he replies "Me"..... lol

My God....

Today my boss was squawking on the phone with one of her friends. She yells out of her office, "what day does the 4th of July fall on?" I yelled back, "the 4th".

She thanked me and proudly told her phone friend the 4th of July is on the 4th.
