I had a boss who hired his idiot wife, pill-popping brother and a random collection of useless in-laws. His wife was given a VP title despite having no experience other than as a cashier at a retail store. She was assigned the task of determining the demographics of the membership of our website. Based on this data, my marketing team could design better advertising to attract the target audience. After three weeks worth of delays and excuses, she proudly walked into our multi-department meeting with a chart breaking down the composition of our website's membership.

She had taken a sheet of printer paper and hand-drawn a simple pie chart with three wedges. One wedge said "80% Men", one said "10% Women" and the third said "10% Black". So either our website was completely devoid of White, Hispanic, Asian and Native American members or she was implying black people belong to a mysterious and unidentified third gender.

You gotta love nepotism.
